Malta Medical is a ministry of Calvary Chapel of San Antonio. It is modeled as a family practice type clinic, and is available to the community to provide healthcare to patients, over the age of seven, at no cost.

To summarize in one word the motive behind our service: compassion. Compassion motivated Jesus to heal the sick, and eventually, to die on the cross for the salvation of humanity.

I am reminded of the account of Jesus healing the man with leprosy. The Bible tells us that Jesus was "moved with compassion" (Mark 1:40-41) to act. Jesus has set an example for us to follow. To serve with compassion is the desire of His heart and is the desire of our hearts.
